Practicing the following exercises regularly will help balance your adrenal glands.
The Adrenal-Thyroid hold
Helps you relax & reduce hot flushes.
Make a V-shape with your thumb index and middle fingers.
Place them in the notch at the centre of your collarbone
Simultaneously place the same 3 fingers of your other hand on one temple
Hold for 3-5 minutes
Switch and repeat on the other side.
Hold your Adrenal Points
With the same 3 fingers at your temple span your navel with the thumb and middle finger of your other hand so that they are 1″ above and 1″ out from navel on both sides
Hold 3-5 minutes
Switch hands and repeat on other side.
Hold your Cortisol Points
Keeping your fingers at your temple move your other hand down so that your thumb and middle finger now span your navel 1″ below and 1″ out from navel
Hold 3-5 minutes
Switch hands and repeat on other side
While these techniques will help soothe your adrenal glands you need to practise them regularly as the meridian governing them (your Triple Warmer Meridian) is always on alert and can easily switch back to its reactive state the next time you are exposed to stress.
