Understanding the messages within.

When you have a symptom it’s a sign that your unprocessed unconscious memory has been activated. Symptoms or ‘negative’ thoughts aren’t necessarily a bad thing. They are your body’s way of letting you know that you need to readdress something in your life.
It can be very difficult for your body or emotions to respond in a different way without awareness and if you repeatedly carry on or ignore them then something has to give. You experience pain, emotional stress or a whole range of physical symptoms.
Holding onto negative emotions promote illness and suppressing your symptoms or emotions with medication or unhealthy habits - drinking too much, overeating, or spending too much time watching TV or on your PC is only a temporary solution.
"What you resist persists."
Your thoughts, behaviours, feelings and symptoms have a purpose. They all come from your unconscious. They are trying to tell you something, to convey some information. When you try to fight them, you give them energy so that when you resist a message, it comes back stronger. Every layout comes with the latest social features built in. What you fully accept will disappear
When you say "Thank-you" to a thought-pattern, feeling or symptom, you're acknowledging it, letting it know that it’s managed to get your attention. This will often cause an immediate relaxation.
You can then explore it more deeply.
Thank the thought-pattern, symptom or feeling then ask what its purpose has been.
Questions to ask:
Why have you been trying to get my attention?
What purpose have you been trying to achieve?
What gift have you been trying to give me?
Objections
Sometimes when you say "thank you" you may get some internal objections. These are often along the following lines:
Why am I saying 'thank you’ to something that's "bad"?
If I say ‘thank you’ to this, aren’t I giving in?
Will it take control of me if I accept it?
If I accept myself, I'll just end up doing nothing!
If you should happen to experience objections, simply thank them too - after all, they're expressions of your own unconsciousness. There's no benefit in fighting yourself. If you do, someone's going to lose, and that's you!
As you practice yourself from now on, you'll continue to deepen the relationship between your conscious and unconscious, and experience greater freedom. Go on, give it a go, I know you want to experience that!
